Ana Schnabl

Ana Schnabl (1985, Slovenia) is at the beginning of her literary career. In November 2017, her first book won a prize for the best debut book. She is a doctoral student of philosophy and her thesis will deal with the possibilities of a feminist autobiography. She has worked as a journalist and has never been good at it, but has learnt a lot and is currently an editor of the European Review of Poetry, Books and Culture. She occasionally hosts literary events and writes critics and reviews for Slovenian media. She lives in a small town in the north of Slovenia.
