Radu Pavel Gheo (RADU Pavel Gheorghiţă, born in 1969 in Oraviţa, Romania) is a Romanian writer, essayist and translator. He finished his studies in Timișoara, for years worked as a teacher, a radio host, a journalist for cultural magazines and a translator. He has published twelve books – novels, short-story collections and essays. He has received a number of Romanian awards and his books have been translated into several languages. He currently lives in Timișoara and works as an editor, translator and a columnist.
