Nataša Kampmark (née Karanfilović) was born in Foča in 1974. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature and a PhD in Literature from the University of Novi Sad. Thesis title: Text, Identity and Alternative History in the Novels of Peter Carey. She teaches courses on literature, literary translation, and editing and publishing at La Trobe and RMIT Universities. She also works with migrants at several community centres in Melbourne. She writes literary criticism and translates from English.
