Vladimir Vujović

Vladimir Vujović was born in 1991. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade. He has published the novels Silencio (Matica srpska, 2017), Spaljivanje Džošua drveta (Burning the Joshua Tree) (Sumatra Publishing, 2021), and Razgovori s Vješticom (Conversations with the Witch) (Sumatra Publishing, 2025). The novel Razgovori s Vješticom (Conversations with the Witch) was shortlisted for the NIN Award, as well as for the Belgrade Winner Award.

He won first prize for the best short story at the Podgorica Art Festival competition in 2018 for his story Intervention.

He is the recipient of the Đura Đukanov Award for 2025 for his short story collection Slobodni udarci (Free Kicks).
