Ana Vučković

Ana Vučković (married surname: Denčić) was born in Belgrade on November 16, 1984. She completed her studies of dramatugy and obtained her Master’s degree in filmology at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. She works as a Radio Belgrade 2 journalist and a columnist for City Magazine and the nova.rs portal. She has published five books so far Epoha lipsa juče (An Epoch Croaked Yesterday) (2003), Lust ‘n’ Dust (2004), Plišani soliter (A plush tower block) (2007), Surfing Serbia (2012) and Yugoslav (2019). Her short stories were published in the collections Krik! (The Shriek) and Kraljica Lir i njena deca (Queen Lear and Her Children) (2017). Her poems were published in Volume 33 of the Rukopisi (Manuscripts) anthology of poetry from the former Yugoslavia in 2010. She is the recipient of the Elle Style Award for Literature for the year 2020.
