Ljiljana D. Ćuk

Ljiljana D. Ćuk (Zrenjanin, 1982) lives, works, and creates in Belgrade. She has published the short story collections Neki drugi (2020, Partizanska knjiga) and Uslovi nisu bitni (2023, Partizanska knjiga). Uslovi nisu bitni was translated into Ukrainian in 2025 and was a finalist for the Voja Čolanović Award in 2024 for the best short story collection published in the Serbian language. She has participated in regional and European literary programs, including the projects Dijahronijski kontrapunkt and CELA (Connecting Emerging Literary Artists). Within the CELA project, the story Meine Mutter hat Blumen gezüchtet was translated into nine European languages. She still dreams of Berlin because even humanoids dream.
