Marija Pavlović
Marija Pavlović was born in Leskovac in 1984. She lives and works in Belgrade as a copywriter, e-magazine editor and writer. She’s written the drama A Strange Case of Mrs Jeckyll and Doctor Hyde which has been performed twice at the Cultural Institution Parobrod in Belgrade, as well as the short story collection Everyday Horror Stories (Matica srpska, Novi Sad, 2014), which was short-listed for the prizes Biljana Jovanović and Dušan Vasiljev. Her short stories have been published in collections of the Belgrade association Oxymoron, Zrenjanin’s magazine Ulaznica, and at Zagreb’s Festival of the European Short Story. She’s participated in the regional literary project Writers for the Future, as part of the project Dialogue for the Future, which is the joint initiative of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United Nations (UN). She also took part in the short-story festival Kikinda Short in 2016 and its follow-up activities.
