Refik Ličina

Refik Ličina was born in Radmanci, Montenegro, in 1956, but since 1994 he has lived in Lund, Sweden. He writes poetry, prose and translates from Swedish. He has published the following poetry collections: Poznavanje prirode (1970), Pčele (1983), Prigodne prisile (2009), Knjigovezačka ulica (2009) and a few short-story collections: Staklenici (2004), Strah od behara (2013), Ulični budilnici (2017), Dalge (2018.). He published selected poetry in Swedish: Predikan för Eurydike (2009) and novellas När nyponrosor mognar (2013). Translations: PrisluškivanjaBengta Emila Johnsona, 2010 (the prize for the best translation at Sarajevo International Book Fair in 2011), Antologija moderne švedske poezije, OKF, Cetinje and Izabrane pjesme Magnusa Wiliam-Olssona (2014), Put u središte zemlje i druge pjesme, Larsa Gustafssona, 2016, Izabrane pjesme Tomasa Tranströmera, 2018. He won the Goran Prize (1979) and the Branko Prize (1980), and the Klas De Vildes scholarship for the year 2016.
